Right now - Your top favorite YouTube Rabbit Hole?
I seem to have a new one every few days. I was turned off by the TV news coverage leading up to the 2016 election, and haven't watched a single minute of "news" since. And from there I turned everything on the TV off, excepting movies, netflix series, Bosch, etc.
Anyways, I replaced it with YouTube. Here I only have to watch things that interest ME. So here's my current fave. Martin Zero is fascinated with Industrial Revolution infrastructure projects (primarily around Manchester, England), and must have a pretty big pair as he explores them with gusto. Hope you enjoy. And if you have any good recommedations, I just broke my ankle Saturday so post below - I'd be much obliged!

Jamel_AKA_Jamal is a mid 40s black man from S. California who has been reacting to classic rock and roll for about a year and a half, watching him explore the music and learn who did what well known pieces of music is pretty cool. Especially when he discovers the Grateful Dead and Gets on the Bus. And then over on his patreon site in the free area, he's reacting to entire albums (Dark Side of the Moon, etc).

Look up Fred Dibnah. He is one of the guys that is just amazing.
He has an entire series where he explores the old steam engines of industrial England. He built some amazing things. This will hook you to want to see the rest of his shows.

Wow.
I love Jamel. I limit my watching to two a day when I am getting ready for business. He is a happy soul.

I like Tom Scott if you haven't seen him yet. Kind of cool, short videos on lots of different things like interesting places in the world, interesting things in computers and really all sorts of things.

Souped Up Recipes. This woman is addictive. Her "Hi Everyone" makes you smile, every time. Making her recipes is even better. Thank god there's an H Mart close to me.

David, sorry about your ankle. Hope you had the best orthopedic work on it. If not already, I saw the San Diego Padres team medical director and surgeon on Friday. He told me he no longer did shoulders. He did his fellowship on ankles and feet, PM me if you want a contact. Neat guy.
On the YT thing, why not me? ![]() ![]() |

Deboss garage for crazy low budget builds and diesel truck conversions, and Throttle House for great car reviews.
