I like it, a lot. Looking forward to your updates as well.
Is the tow rating 7,650? A trailer for larger projects would be cool. And I bet it’d be fairly maneuverable. |
Very cool... . But man, you do circulate vehicles.
|
Looks awesome, love the hood. Hope you have lots of trouble free fun.
I just wish they made them a little bigger. |
Meh... if you own it long term (you usually don’t keep vehicles long), search out and read the dodge truck threads... expect Chrysler quality or worse.
|
Post up a pic with the roof off, windshield folded down, and the doors off...

That is a beautiful color! I'm sure you and your family will enjoy. All of my Jeeps have been great fun with minimal issues.... let the mods begin ;)

My only negative. Those orange toe hooks clash.

We've had 3 JK's (one two door and two different 4 doors). Really love the 4 doors (unlimited). We've had the current MW3 Unlimited Rubicon for about 4 years now. The resale is almost as high as the day we bought it (the MW3 version is weirdly sought after).
The gladiators weren't really my cup of tea (though in general, I really like the JL series). Steve really loves them. Then we saw one with a bigger wheel/tire setup and a minor lift. Crap - that was a visual game changer. 33's about minimum on these and 35's fit pretty nicely (minor lift). Now I want one too - LOL! If they would just quit pussy-footing around and put a Hemi in 'em.... angela |
Matt, you are probably correct. Our minivan is even more plush, but it isn't actually a car like a sedan or coupe.
We also have a 2000 Durango SLT+ that is pretty soft everywhere inside, but after that they went all crappy plastic in them for the rest of that generation of truck. That truck now has 196k miles. Needs new front bushings and all the engine accessories have been replaced as well as the rear pinion seal but has been pretty trouble free. Only left us stranded when the non-oem tensioner pulley replacement broke. The OEM was making noise and was replaced as a precaution with Dayco parts from a store where dad worked at the time. |

So, another Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon for me today.
When I work from home I always do a "walk about", just to get out of the house, usually a quick drive or an errand. So, I get to the end of my driveway, stop, look both ways even though it is really rural, and I see a Snazberry Gladiator zip by, going my way. I follow it for about four miles through open fields and tree lined roads. It looks exactly like OWPs except it had a black convertible roof. In the real world that color works, really works. The Gladiator has grown on me. |
