My Italian forefathers (we'll Scottish actually ) would be spinning to hear that.

I really like chicken and bacon with a white "ranch" sauce. My go to is peperoni, onion, Italian sausage and mushrooms.

Same. I’m of the opinion that meat is the only acceptable pizza topping, but I also enjoy a good margherita pizza.

I was at a bar and GF was asking which pizza I wanted. I was behaving like an eight year old saying "I don't like it, no I don't want it...." Then she said she walked off and said she will order for me. A margherita pizza arrived and it may have been one of the best pizzas I've had.

Way in the last century when I called the place "home" there was a place in Grand Rapids MI, Village Inn I think, that had the best craggly crusty porky sausage that was really heavy with fennel. I've kind of been chasing it ever since then.

We did the annual family visit duties last month and Peppinos out on the west side got close...

Oh, and this household (12yo included) stands by anchovies. Any pizza. Anywhere. Any time.

Two places in GR that have consistently great pizza's now.....Pietro's on 28th (I haven't been there for a while) and Uccello's in various locations.
Uccello's signature pizza is the best I've ever had. It's a deep dish pizza that two slices will fill you. The Rockford Uccello's is closest to me.
Rivertown has one on one end of it.

Lumps of cream cheese aren't a bad addition to the party - as long as you understand that it becomes the hottest stuff on earth, with the highest heat capacity and greatest ability to burn your face of any material known to mankind.

And I'll admit that my earlier boast is a lie. I don't think I can find joy in anchovies on this one...

Yeah, I used to quite a bit when I went through ET ‘A’ back in the day (Great Lakes). I grew up three hrs South of the city and was bombing home and back on the weekends. Sometimes I’d grab a whole pie before heading out of the city.

Only one shop will I have bacon put on with pineapple.

I'm not a slave to it (the Hawaiian pizza) but it's a very good taste combination.

Cabmando may come over in a few weeks to visit his kid. We may need to get a DeCheco's White Pizza.

I like a plain cheese in order to judge the pizza

I like almost all the common meats and veg in various combos though when eating out I lean more towards veggies than meat no matter the food type (usually asian or italian)
