Help Identifying a Missing Part with Tankless Water Heater - Like a hose clamp
I got all my plumbing and gas lines done over the long weekend and when I turned on the water, all hell broke loose inside of my new tankless water heater. Basically, it's missing a hose clamp and so a pipe inside came disconnected.
The Problem: This is a specialized clamp - I'm wondering if anyone knows the proper name of this type of clamp. I purchased the tankless over 5 years ago but am just now installing so returning is probably not an option. I'm contacting the manufacturer today to see if I can get a replacement but I'm wondering what this type of clamp is as I may be able to source one somewhere. 1st Photo shows a clamp inside the tankless:  2nd Photo shows the missing clamp:

Oh, I don't know too much about them. If Takagi, you call and the part will be in the mail. Much smaller company compare to Rheem. I am sorry, I don't know what that part is called. Try calling Hirsh pipe and supply up in your area. I believe that are a Rheem dealer.

That is a retaining clip it’s only purpose is to hold the pipe in place (there’s an o-ring that makes the seal)
They are not off the shelf type clips so your only option will be to contact rheem for replacement

Problem Solved!
I purchased another tankless - I had no choice as I am having my mom's 90th B-Day party in a week and people staying at my house. I bought a new one with the intent of returning the old. However, my brother wants the old one so he'll get it. That said, I installed the new one last night and everything works perfectly. When I removed the old heater, I set it on its side and there was a rattle inside. I opened it up and the retaining clip is in there - I still have to retrieve it because it is stuck in the back behind some stuff, but it's in there. This remodel is turning out to be way over budget
