Any idea what this gizmo might be?

I saw this device on an early '50s Plymouth that showed up recently at a local C&C, but couldn't find the owner to ask about it. Anyone know what it's used for?

All right...thanks! That would explain the toggle switch on the air filter. "G" for gas and "P" for propane.

Really? An Ipco mixer?

Did you just make that up?

That is clearly and obviously an early Flux Capacitor prototype.

I’ve seen all 3 historical documentaries at least twice so i know of what i speak.

Nice job.

It's a beautiful thing to help out with some obscure factoid and then get shredded for it.

Propane regulator…

Growing up, all dads trucks were dual fuel. Propane used to get down to 8 cents per litre in the summer…

Impco propane vaporizer / regulator. Fed with engine coolant which heats the incoming propane to ensure it is all vaporized.
