reminds me of the movie funny farm with chevy chase.
the mail man was drunk by the time he got to chases house. he was flying by in his truck and would just fling all the mail out the window.
I don't think my mail man is too far from that.

So those were both delivered by USPS? Or were they delivered by UPS, FedEx, Amazon delivery?

If it was USPS, that's weird, because it looks like the small box would have fit inside the box. The big box would not have fit.

If it was not USPS, then it's not a surprise that they did not put the boxes in the mailbox. I don't think anyone but USPS is allowed to stick anything inside a mailbox.

They both look like packages delivered by the black Prime truck.

When they deliver here....I get an email and pic of the package....unless they hand it to me.

Right, and if they aren't USPS, then I think it's illegal for them to put them inside the mailbox.

Isn't that a thing, the only folks that can put something in a mailbox is the mailbox owner or a postal employee?

After more interaction with UPS on the phone, with a driver and at the store I finally got them to issue a "delivery refusal" and the same driver I spoke to is supposed to pick it up from my house......that was two days ago

You are most definitely correct.
