Californians voted in stupid animal husbandry laws that are going to make it illegal to import pork to California, from pretty much anywhere. Chicken and eggs are going to be affected as well.

What's the price there?
The thick-cut stuff went from $3.50-4.50 a year or so ago to 8 now.

I keep it mostly cooked and frozen ready to go. Probably use 2 slices max for bagel-egg-cheese, salads, potato fry so it's not much but it does add up.

The crazy vegans/PETA members in Kalifornia can't fathom eating a porkchop, and find it offensive....so they make laws to make it difficult for everyone else.

Rather than living, and let live, they must change the laws to suit their sickness, and keep from being offended.
