It's absolutely unreal. I hang out on 914world.com most of the time and 99% of the folks are very considerate. Rarely are folks as flat out mean over there as they are here. Rennlist seems to be fairly nice folks as well.

And lack of concerted moderating. Mr. Dudley hasn't logged on since 6/15 last I checked. That leaves Z-man and I'm sure he's overwhelmed.

I tried but my vision was not the popular one. It's too late now. Habits are formed and hard to break. Lot of bad habits here.

I blame QAnon. I remember reading that after Jan.6, Q instructed the faithful to venture out into non political places on the internet on a Evangelistic Crusade to get out their "truths".

Along about that same time, Pelicans long lost QAnon leaning Prodigal Son returns to resume his Moderating duties. And soon after that, Pelicans QAnon leaning Patron Saint returns to the board to lead the charge of political topics in OT with blatant QAnon inspired titles such as "Opinions please - runaway inflation coming or deflation by economic collapse?"

And the Prodigal Son turns a blind eye. So here we are with PARF in OT. I'm sure none of this really happened and these ramblings are just a product of my overactive, conspiracy driven imagination. I'm also sure this post will be removed or get me banned or both and I'm Ok with that.

I find it amusing that people complain about a free service that quite frankly probably causes more issues than what its worth. Pelican wants you to buy stuff, shutting down OT is probably a blessing for them . They can get by with the free classifieds, engine building, etc that actually ties in to what they offer.

Sugarwood, that was an excellent example of some of the mindless crap which one sometimes has the misfortune of encountering on a public forum.

Not all car guys are know it all types. In fact quite the opposite. I have a vast background but still ask when I don't know something.

To the point I made though is we all should exercise a little class. No I am not an uptight person rather just considerate of others.

It is probably my years of educating 1000s of welders and having also my own business that has reminded me that you need to be a people person in all avenues of life.

The EEMH is comprised of 70 or so suites of various sizes and capabilities, which are filled by start-ups and small businesses. They're required to be a producing facility of some kind (no software app stuff, no VCs, etc), they need to be pretty local, and they need to preferentially hire from within our district, a historically minority but manufacturing area in Houston.

TXRX Labs is a makerspace gone professional, we teach classes and certifications on a growing number of trade subjects (ASE, welding, machining, QC, etc). We also do design and prototyping for companies, especially the tenants in the EEMH, and we still do classic makerspace stuff, like have memberships and teach night classes on nearly every type of manufacturing or crafting that exists. Our core values are DIY, trades, skills, and the idea that we can't Buy American until we can Build American, and that won't happen until we Train American.
Wow - that is spectacular. Give me hope for the future!

Agree 100%, a few PARFers aren't getting enough attention over there so feel the need to disrupt here by spoiling threads with their political rhetoric

Guess their daily lives must lack enough stimulation or social interaction, I feel sorry for them

Right Pat?

I did find that rather ironic and comical, coming from the most arrogant and bitter poster on this forum.
