New clock
Wife bought clock on sale at Walmart.
I hate roman numerals because they make me think. But this one just seems off x2. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1629757280.jpg |
Man, that is sooooo wrong. Must be a new way of displaying Roman Numerals. Kind of like the new math or something.
|
I've always been curious about 4
Is it IV, IIII, or both??? Sure looks like they got 7 wrong though... |
Designed by a recent graduate.
|
I'd be alarmed by that.
|
It must be correct.
One can clearly see that it's a Greenwich Clock.:D |
A lot of clocks use IIII.
IIV is definitely not 7. |
And the 7 is showing IIV. There is no such number.
|
Chinese and roman numbers don’t mix well :D.

You think the clocks bad, you should see the rest of the crap wifey put on every flat surface. |

Upside down “Vs” and II(upside down V) for 7? Yeaaaah! |
The lack of logic is astounding: if VIII is 8, which they have correct, then why in hell would 7 be IIV?
The IIII is just cute, like let us reinvent Roman numbers :). |
The Romans had it wrong.
Glad we found out. |

Has it ever occurred to anyone else, that kids born in the digital age have no idea what you are saying with "it's a quarter to five" or "half past six"?
With regard to that Walmart clock, I can see "Happy hour from 5 to something like 3"? |

Kind of like college students lining up to sign a petition to ban hydrogen dioxide. |

Wish I was artistic...I'm tempted to draw a casio digital face showing 8:20:00. |
