Back in high school I had a teacher who called on students by saying "Master" and their last name, as in "Master Smith can you tell us the answer?".
That is until he called on a classmate of mine, Dave Bader. The entire class broke up when he said it, and watching him come to the realization of what he said was priceless. I also had a classmate named Stephen Dick and, not unexpectedly for immature males, he was nicknamed "Harry". |
