what are the chances the daughter turns out to be next gen Bond?

I've heard that the chances of a female Bond are pretty much nil. I guess we'll see.

I agree. Before they replace Bond, they would need to make him look old, like a family man bouncing his kid on his knee, give the "007" number to a female replacement and then kill him off being outwitted in the end by a smarter criminal and that's never gonna happen because it would destroy the whole character.

Whatever. I find these movies entertaining — nothing more. I wouldn't be able to stand the loudness at the theater so it has to be able to be rented. I can wait for all the great movies, even if it takes a year (which it never does, the price just goes down). And I can get up, take a pee and grab a beer and not miss a thing. Or rewind if I missed something.

Spoil away. There's never been a Bond movie that didn't turn out with the good guys on top, so what's to spoil? Oh, Felix dies? Oh well. I forgot he was alive.

I don't remember seeing a tribute moment like this one, which was cool.

Craig doesn't know how to drive a stick. Not a Bond I am afraid.

Steve Carlton 10-12-2021 07:52 PM

Okay. I'll tell Barb no more of Craig.

Flipper35 hit it right.

I found Craig far too sentimental to be Bond in most of these films. Bond is a womanizer, that's who he is and why Connery has never been dethroned.

The Bond girl in this film looks fluffy and the buck teeth do nothing for me.

The opening scene is fantastic! Worth the price of watching, after that the film drags on way too long and the end is terrible if true.

The day a woman Bond is the protagonist, I'm out.

Best films

1) Dr. No
2) Goldfinger
3) From Russia with love
4) You only live twice
5) On her Majesty's secret service
6) Thunderball

Also there were two production companies making the bond films, that made the series a bit odd.

Ian Flemming wrote these books during the cold war so I find the early stuff much better and true to his vision

Yep, I remember when the first Craig came out. I heard the same, he couldn't drive stick, and wasn't good on a horse or something like that.
