I think it was released in the UK and a few other countries a week ago. The US release is tomorrow.

I want to see it. If you want to see it, you've gotta go to a theater. I'll probably just wait until I can watch at home.

best Bond Character ever.

i like how gritty he is. i'm all in.

My expectations are high- I hope I didn't set the bar too high for myself. The previews look great. I got a ticket for tomorrow night already at my local barcalounger theater.

Sean Connery is my sentimental favorite who made the mold- kind of a smartass compared to Daniel Craig's thuggery. Daniel Craig is right up there, though, and I'll be sad to see him go. He brought a lot of vulnerability and emotion to the role, which is great. I think Layer Cake won him the role, and he totally deserved it. I'm hoping for the best with the next choice and would love to see Idris Elba get it.

I don't think there were any spin-offs from this franchise. I have mixed feelings about that and I'm surprised the money grab wasn't made.

I saw it last night.
It was surprisingly good, a few things disappointed me, but I won't spoil it.

Was Ana de Armas (Paloma) good? I've got a huge crush on her. I'm going to get the holographic version of her when the Wallace Corporation releases the memory stick.

Yep, I agree. Craig is the best Bond. Not just a "pretty boy" but a bit of a thug, and he is the face I think of for James Bond. Connery was good, but he was never a tough guy.

lets start..

who was the worst bond?:D hahah.

The better question: was there nudity? I know it is Bond so the answer is no.

Actually, it is kind of refreshing that the Bond films stayed true to their origins and never went down the gratuitous nudity path.

I think 'From Russia With Love' defined what the movie version of Bond should be and Connery was a perfect fit for the first few films.

But... I believe Daniel Craig has taken Connery's place as the best Bond. It also helps the movies have gotten away from the silliness of the Moore and Brosnan films. The Fleming novels were gritty and so too the Craig films.

I vote Dalton. But that could be because the films were not that good.

I hate to say it but Sir Roger is a close second at the bottom for me but only because the cheeky humor was at times pitiful. However, some of his films were my favorites: For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy come to mind.

as a young kid, i would strain my eyeballs staring that Bond movie kaleidoscope-like intro where they have some nubile naked woman in complete silhouette undulating seductively to the latest Bond them song. i think i caught side boobage once. :)

Worst of the series was Brosnan- only because the writing was so horrible.

I don't think Dalton was that bad.

I also think 'The Man with the Golden Gun' was a good Bond film, mostly because of Christopher Lee as Scaramanga.

This scene is one that Craig does perfectly. Moore or Brosnan just could never make it look right.

My vote is for Craig.

Agreed. Including the elevator escape.

What a tribute to the Goldfinger murder that was.

Purposefully not read the thread in case of spoilers. Also avoided all reviews so I can form my own opinions without influence. Seeing it tonight with a buddy, we see every Bond and every Tarantino movie opening night or weekend together for a well over a decade now.

OMG, she was not only smoking Hot, but was great in her part. The "new" 007, well, no, she didn't do it for me and definitely won't waste $$ if she is the new franchise.
The only bad thing about Paloma, was not enough screen Time.
