Here is the answer for a much more reasonable price for liner replacements
Westwood Part Number : L 6359/6360 3.4 991, 97.00mm Bore, Ductile Iron flanged liners (With Hole and cutouts machined) @ £1093.50 GBP Per Set Which converts to 1330.00 bucks for all 6 liners, plus shipping. They told me almost any machine shop can do this replacement. SOooooo there is other ways around the L&N big dollar job. We can thank UTUBE and NAthens Work Shop for hinting at other avenues.

Question,
Is an "R" model too rough for road trips? The one I am looking at has AC and a radio.
