UPM Vegas photos

Well everyone is starting to roll in.

Tabs, CC and I had lunch at a very good Dim Sum place here.

The first shots are below and whatever I can post of the nights festivities will do later tonight.

CC

Tabs and a drifter found along the way

That's not Tom - it's Todd (Nostatic).

Looking forward to more pictures

Well ladies and gents, it was a very interesting evening!

I should start by saying that at lunch CC was telling Tabs and myself that she did not even want to meet Fintstone, and would tell him off if he came close.

We all met at the Fontana bar at 7 PM. Beautiful and the water and light show was fantastic. Music inside was excellent.

Here is Todd, Tabs and Jordi

The evening progressed and both Tabs and then Fintstone showed up on the balcony. No one knew what Fintstone looked like and there had been rumours of his appearance.

The two of them then walked around shaking hands with everyone and even Keri. Problem was that she did not realize who he was. One hour later she still did not realize who he was and had been talking to him half the time.

I need to add that while Fintstone did show up (and spend 5 hours there!) he did not want a photo of his face taken due to his work with the military.

Kim, Fintstone, RandyP

The person behind the menu is Fintstone and Keri on the left...

Have a couple more but have to run to the "Starbucks" Saturday meeting at 0900!

JoeA

PS Mike, you can send the check to me anytime. We all enjoyed the cigars, whiskey and food!

Just back from the Starbucks Saturday morning meeting. Todd (Nostatic) headed back to LA about two hours ago and we believe that Kim was on the road at 7 this morning, trying to make the gathering at Pelican today. The rest of us enjoyed the warm sun and friendship for two hours there this morning.

Keri (CC) and Kyle (slakjaw) as well as Randy P were missing this morning. So was Tabs but then we knew that he keeps a different schedule in life!

Sounds like its more Dim Sum for lunch then back to the Bellagio for the buffet tonight. We got so caught up in talking, smoking cigars and swilling whiskey that we never made the buffet last night. Believe that we will correct this oversight tonight!

All for now, more later!

Considering that Tabs won one of the Texas Holdem poker matches here in Vegas a few months ago, bet that the pile of chips would be a lot more substancial.

Anytime someone wins a large tourney here in Vegas that kinda takes them out of the "also rans" catagory.

i've never played texas hold 'em, although i'm aware it's quite the phenomenon of the moment. i'm partial to gin rummy myself..not many tourneys around for this old card game..and very few, true 'gin masters' around either. it's a great game.

Ryan,

Knew you were kidding but we found out that Tabs really knows what he is doing with a deck of cards.

As well Keri and others tried to find out more about "Mother" and Tabs was cagy enough not to be drawn out on this subject. "Mother" remains secure in the shadows, at least for now that is!

Kim said that this is going to be made into an annual event so start making your plans for the next one. Unfortunately the UPM tee-shirts were not ready in time for the event so we all will have to wait on these.

What RedBeard is aluding to is the comment by Lubemaster that he wanted to see Keri and Kim in a lip lock...

Well kids, the photo is above. After that one I was lucky enough to get in the middle of the next kiss. Believe that Jordi has a better shot of it but wants to get their ok before posting it!
