Food aplenty here but I can't get my anti-inflammatory med. It's been back ordered for 6 months. This sht is gettin' real.

It's a supermarket, the same size as any Kroger, they just call it a different name in the mountains.

If in fact it is a supermarket then based upon empty shelves, pub rules apply. That is to say, when multiple taps go offline (aka supermarket shelves) for a specific location, for a long period of time... Then somebody not payin the billz....

I highly doubt that, it's Kroger, this is the one in Carbondale in fact.

The Walmart in Glenwood Springs looks the same.

East coast of Florida about 45 minutes north of West Palm Beach.

Creamer / half and half in short supply. Fine. We use heavy cream instead. Push comes to shove we can use whipped cream.

Spaghetti Sauce, no self respecting Italian family would buy canned sauce. We buy tomatoe paste and peeled whole tomatoes to make out own. We will even boil down whole tomatoes to make sauce when we have the time.

Everything else, we subscribe to Butcher Box for proteins and Misfits for produce, our in store purchases are minimal.

The breakfast food and cream cheese sections here were empty today.
The other sections looked normal.

It didn't look like that on Sunday, the clear parking lot and people in shorts that is.

I did dig the co-op. Popped in for some gas and washer fluid to make sure I was topped off for the ride back to Denver.

Grabbed some Jerky and half thought about loading up on ammo and maybe a new shot spoon.

That place has everything.

There's been a shortage of Kellogg's Bran Flakes up here for around a month. The grocery store posted a notice saying no product until mid-January.

My area has been without power for a week now. Local grocery store just reopened on generator power but shelves are fully stocked.

We have sporadic shortages here, but nothing like that. Wonder if this developed into something more than internet chatter:

My wife like Smucker's blueberry flavored syrup and you cannot find that in any stores where I live. I have not been able to do so for about a year and refuse to pay to have it shipped. Sometimes the egg selection is a bit poorer than in the past. Sometime no extra-large eggs, just large eggs. May be a shelf stocking problem though...as help is hard to find when you can make almost as much by staying home. Everything else is relatively plentiful but prices have increased significantly on many things.

Went food shopping yesterday here in the greater Seattle area. Everything in my local store (Central Market) appeared normal.

One of the things I miss about living in the Boston area, chicken lobsters out this way are around $20/lb and jumbos are a couple of bucks more. Plenty of live dungeness crab around though!

The Fred Meyer (Kroger-owned) that we usually shop at has been slowly increasing the amount of non-food products, spreading shelves apart, and condensing the food section. It used to be that food was stocked fairly deep on the shelf; now I see they only have items 1-3 deep and have people walking around to keep pulling it forward.

I'm wondering if this is a Kroger-specific problem? There doesn't seem to be much difference in the other big grocery store we shop (Winco).
