Normal in Honolulu, and everything gets shipped in.

No such issues in my neck of the woods.

This just sounds like a Kroger distribution/supply chain issue, but some "non-mainstream" item have been scarce on the shelves here for the past year or so. It's totally store dependent too imo... even within the same "chains". Just my observation.... if I want a specific item in mind .... I might have to drop in a different store a few miles away.

In the first part of December the Ritz cracker section became bare and stayed that way for two weeks. Then back to normal. Around the same time Corn Flakes (both Kelloggs and store brand) were sold out and were still no stock on Friday.
People are having trouble getting raw materials and in some cases production staff. I would not want to be a plant manager right now.

Best

You're not missing out having dungeness crab Grant. For me, snow crab is the sweetest, then dungeness and then king and so on. I love it when lobster goes on sale for $5.99/lb, I always get several that week.

In my little slice of the business world, small unmanned aviation systems, our sourcing of parts (composites, gears, engines, electronics, the works) went from a part-time job to a full time hire.

For now, the days of laying in production schedules with absolute confidence are over...hard to manage work flow, etc.

My brother works in automation (his company builds robots), he says in the last year he has never been busier. Lots of companies are contacting them wanting to replace human staff - they're unreliable, don't show up for shift, or even show up at all.

No real problems here on Ct. Lobster a bit pricey. City Fish in Wethersfield has the 6lbs and up for $10.99!!!!
Plenty of toilet paper, that's a relief ( no pun intended).

My local SAMs does not have Chicken...or only Boneless Skinless Chx breasts...

Kroger had a sale of Chx ..they never got the Thighs sent to them.

Veggie oil at SAMS was also nonexistent for awhile..

That place has everything.
I was just watching Hickok’s ssa and he had a new Wesson compact 45. What a sweet gun. I may have to save up my allowance.

Had a Gatorade shortage around here for a little while. Sort of getting back to normal.

It was fine. 2 or so really annoying fluey days and 2-3 days of stuffy nose and cough. I'll take it.

Pretty much normal here.

On Wed they were out of the large bag of thin spaghetti so I had to get 2 smaller bags. Everything else was in stock.

I have about 2 months worth of food on hand in case employee report off's increase over the next month or so. If I run out of food I guess I can share a bowl of kibble with my mutt.

Call down the street to Allegria and LaFogata in Carbondale. Ask if they have pasta sauce? They are further off the path than you are. If they say no sauce its the end of the world as these are Italian eateries. If they say yes ask if they will sell you some since they probably make in house.
