I first got a cat named her Tuddy as in "I thought I saw a Puddy Kat, I did, I did, poor puddy go boom." Then I got the smaller of the 2 Airdales....she turned 8 on April 18th, got the big boy George last October from Airdale Rescue....very sweet boy....his former owner used to give him bottled water to drink...now it's the French version called Le Toilette. He's a 113 lber.... and turned 8 on Sept 24....

I'm glad people keep posting their dog pictures.
This is making me laugh & cry at the same time. Our Owen passed away Wednesday night from a re-occurring liver problem and possibly his kidneys too. So...i'm still in the "too painful to talk about" phase. Time to get the tears out of my eyes again....

So sorry to hear that, Sarah. I lost an extremely beloved dog in 2000, so I know exactly how you feel.

They are such good friends, all they want to be is loved and given a little respect and in return they give their all...

Yep you are right. Pets are so easy to love.
Denis...We had dogs pass away in 2000 also from Kidney failure and cancer. I was hoping not to have to feel that type of loss for a while again, but it puts things into perspective. Anyone (pet or person) can go any day . You have to love & enjoy them while they are here.

Thanks Esther. We really do think of our dogs as family members (we don't have kids). One minute I can talk about him just fine...the next minute...i'm all blurry eyed again.

The best dog in the world, Grendel, enjoying a speedboat trip on Lake Washington. Man, he looks happy!

I am such a sucker for the chance to show off my danes.
in their "natural" state For reference, I am 6'2" Sarah, sorry to hear of your loss. I have yet not had to deal with the loss of one of my dogs but I cannot imagine how I will.

Thanks Gary. Your dogs are beautiful...and huge...
.I feel sad that I never took Owen for a ride in the porsche. That was a goal that i'll have to achieve this summer for Bailey & Spanky and take them for a parade lap around Lake Harriet. Here is Bailey helping me wash/clean the porsche before my MN Pelican drive last Saturday.

Here is another reason not to let people take your picture when you are chewing ice cubes.

Sarah, Yes, the logo art work was drawn from the photo below it. That is Rocky the Rockstar!
So sorry to hear about Owen.

Mark...Thank you....Owen has been gone for over a month now and we miss him terribly...we're still trying to adjust to the changes in the daily routine without him.
Speaking of art work...my husband once gave me a charcoal drawing of me holding my first sharpei puppy (Scooter). He had a picture that he took to this guy and then got the drawing framed. It was a great present & we have it in the "dog's room." ![]() Boop Rocky's nose for us.
