I was thinking of using Mobil I syn
Any reasons why not? Can I use the Rural King in my JD?

No reason not to use Mobil1. I just figure 0w20 full synthetic is 0w20 full synthetic. And the rural king stuff is made by Warren I think.

I'll prob go with the Mobil 1...the owner's manual suggests Honda's oil.

And Toyota's manual recommends "Toyota" oil. I asked the dealer "When did Toyota get into the refining business?" I figure as long as the oil meets the specs, I don't care what brand it is. I've been running whatever is cheapest in my beater Taurus X and that thing has over 180K on the odometer.

After you drain it using your magnetic tool....you have to refill the engine oil.
