Name this car

Posted on a Facebook forum. I have no clue what it is. The hood resembles a 1990's firebird to me, Canopies resemble the Splittin image Hot Wheels. Canopies are blacked out so maybe just a display vehicle? As a whole it has a 1960-70's customization.

It looks like it may be built on a C3 Vette body?

That was my first thought too. Looks like a Vette that has had some work done.

I'm going to name it Garfield, but I think it could also be an Ira.

It seems I'm the only person who sees the beauty in it.

Umm, maybe that's not such a good thing LOL

Nah. As far as that kind of thing goes, it looks like it is or could be cool. Obviously, this sort of thing is kind of a fantasy car, but based on the photo, it looks well done. It feels like something from the 70s.

I think someone was inspired by this Darryl Starbird car.

If the car in the OP had shiny custom paint and a proper set of wheels and tires and the correct rake, it would probably look pretty damn good.
Nothing really wrong with the proportions, and the lines I see look good to me.
I'm with Bill D. on this one.

Haters gotta hate?

The double bubble thing is probably great if you don't want to listen to your passenger. "What? I can't hear you."

I'll bet that's darn hot in the sun!

Not the Moonbird, this one is called "The Alchetron"

I think Ed Roth and Darryl Starbird probably smoked pot while they were coming up with names for their creations!
