Great stadium that started out as bleachers on each side. It goes vertical rather than a gradual rise away from the field. So everyone is literally right on top of the game. Although, I was there in 2004 when ND came to town. My BIL and I went last second and bought tickets on the street. We were about 5 rows from the top. It's pretty scary up that high but view is still pretty decent. There was an ND kid, drunk as hell, on top row that had to be brought down for his arrest. So steep up there I thought he was just going to face plant all the way down. Tot attendance against ND, 107,266. They had squeezed in 109,000 during the FLA game that year. IIRC, we paid $100 total for the tickets that day. Not today my friends. |

I just checked my ticket price for the Arkansas @Tennessee game in 2020. Vols put up 35 in the 1st quarter on the way to a 63-20 win.
