The old girl has had a good run! If she's approarching the end, or has more time left, I hope she gets to spend it in comfort and peace and retain her dignity.

My grandmother is nearly 6 months older, and is slowing down a bit, but still kicking.

The Queen is a remarkable person. Whatever is to come I echo Masraum's hope for peace and comfort. Her dignity is a big part of her legacy and beyond reproach.

Hoping the best for her. I've always had the utmost respect for her.

Kind of interesting to see the Queen progress toward the end of her life - also sad. I watched her coronation on our black & white TV as a kid and thought she was the most beautiful Princes that ever could be.

I think Wills and Katherine are good though. Their youngest kid, Louis, is a hoot. He may end up on the cover of tabloids eventually.

Queen Elizabeth II just died after 70 years on the throne.
The crown now passes to Charles.

But here's a thought, Abolish the Monarchy.

RIP, to her. She has been a good example of royalty. The British royal family is something all my knowledge of them is unwanted. The news insists to try to put them in the news. I honestly can't possible care less about the entire family.

Diana was a pretty lady and should be an example of never ride in cars driven by drunks, and if she had just worn he seat belt she would be alive.

Elizabeth certainly lived a long life of wealth and power.

Well crap.

I looked up and the TV screen showed it. Sad day indeed.

Oh wow.

A very classy lady has passed...not into the Monarchy thing but thought she was as good as it gets in that position.

I am told if you can't say anything nice, you should not say anything.


I am sure her dogs will be well cared for.
