Subscribed to all threads?

About a month or two ago I noticed I started getting email alerts about replies in threads I had posted in, despite having not subscribed to them. At first it was just a couple, then it was more and more.
Eventually I realized that I was subscribed to every single thread I'd ever posted in. Several thousand of them.

The site wouldn't let me unsubscribe from them, it kept throwing an error when trying to clear the subsribed folder in user CP, until today.

Tonight I replied to the garden hose thread, and blammo.... automatically sub'ed to it.

What's up with that? It's mighty annoying.

Inclusion and diversity is making a comeback.

Mebbe things were "wonky" for you, but being subscribed to threads when you post in them (and email notifications) has always been the default... I think. Go into your user profile and look under "edit options" to turn it off. I only get an email notify for PMs...

Sorry to hear this. PM Matt at Pelican Parts and he'll figure it out.

His contact info is at the top of OT in a Sticky.

Best.

If you are using Tapatalk on your phone, it seems to want to subscribe you to any thread you post in.

I use TapaTalk when away from my computer. I think it must automatically subscribe to any thread I post in with it.

Even if subscribed to threads, you should be able to disable email notifications for those too. Don't know what being subscribed to a thread means if ya aren't notified tho'...

I don't use it. Only on PC, never on phone.
