Mattress Mac does that for all big sporting events. He sells tons of furniture against the bet. So everyone who bought a certain amount of furniture in a certain period just got it for free since the bet paid for it.

He spoke to our company many years ago. Really interesting story and good speaker. When we asked how much he charged to speak he said nothing but he asked that if he ever needed anything for us to support him. When Hurricane Katrina hit he came asking for us to support him and Pres Bush's charity efforts. Our company had changed hands and the new owners told him no. I was pretty disappointed with new management and thankfully they flipped us pretty quick.

I didn't have a team dog in this fight...one of very good friends is frm Philly but I was pulling for Dusty Baker based on his time with SF.

I recorded and watched the series since it moved along a a good clip. Great changes coming to the shift next year!
