Well, I have preferences for pies and they are completely independent of the time of year.
In no particular order, Key lime, lemon, blueberry, cherry and chocolate. I’m also partial to cobblers, namely peach and blackberry. I will eat an apple pie, I will just wish that it had been something else. Not interested in rhubarb. Won’t eat pecan or pumpkin or mincemeat. If it comes with a ton of meringue on top, I will be looking for a place to throw it. |

You can't vote for more than one?
C'mon man! I will admit my favorite desert is carrot cake. I voted apple but would have included Pecan if possible. Do hanging chads count? Happy Turkey Day guys!

My Dad used to make some sort of pie where he would boil a can of sweetened condensed milk for something like 4 hours for it to caramelize, then pour into a graham cracker crust pie shell, I think it had walnuts in it also and topped with whipped cream, put in the fridge for several hours to stiffen things up and served cold. I just remember that pie was rich as heck.
I like apple pie with the crumbs on top. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

My grandfather liked to eat, and Thanksgiving was his favorite meal.
He would have a piece of whatever pie was handy, and then say "I think I tasted some rhubarb in there, I better have a second piece to make sure" and then try a piece of a different pie. He also had one comment that always makes me think of him on Thanksgiving. As he pushed away from the table, with a full belly, he would say "If I could feel this way all the time, I could quit working for a living" So you also missed Rhubarb pie in the poll. ![]()

I do like a good Dutch apple pie. Even bad apple pie is good come to think of it. Hot with ice cream melted over the top.

Always had a soft spot for pecan pie. When it's good, it's awesome. Most isn't. There was a pie place in Westwood we used to go to when I was at UCLA. This line always caught my ear in "Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum." Makes me sad these guys couldn't afford a slice.
