Show Us Before/After photos of your car

Yellowperil’s post about finding an old photo of his ‘69 Camaro inspired me to share a photo of my mid year.

https://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/1131547-found-old-pic-my-69-camaro.html

This photo was taken soon after the second owner bought the car in 1983. The child is her grandson and drove the restored car to his wedding in 2012. As you can see, the 1st owner did some modifications to the car.

Here is a photo the day the car was gifted to me.

Current photo of the car. I tried to get it more period correct.(The fiberglass whale tail is in storage)

Not to hijack, but I don't want to start a new thread... Here's a pic of my car circa 1994 when I bought a set of old Cookie Cutters and painted the centers orange with Rust-Oleum "farm implement orange" paint, which come to find out was an almost perfect match for Continental Orange. The rocker panels were also painted with the same Rust-Oleum (the PO had painted the rockers black for some reason)...

Will add to this thread, and not start a new one as well.

This is my 911 back in 1995 the weekend I bought it. Shot on real film, and a made into a 3.5 x 5 inch print.

This is in 2004 at the Ft. Worth area Texas World race track that is now gone, and just a parking lot. That was my very first track day. Dang that is fun.

This is in 2015 at the West Baden springs hotel near French Lick, IN.

This is from 2021 shorty after I had to give up on finding 15 inch tires for a sports car. All that is available in a size that fits are minivan tires, or autocross gummies. With 17 inch Euromiester wheels, I can get modern tires for a sports car.

From the summer of 2022 road trip. This is Little Round Top in the background at Gettysburg, PA

I have tons of photos of my car in many different states from northern Maine, to Key West FL. and southern California. I have put over 107,000 miles on it over the 27 years, so not crazy mileage, but I have driven it to 41 states and Canada and my goal is to get to all lower 48 states while driving my 911. I have been to 46 states personally.

Here's a picture of my old 912 when I first saw it sitting in the PO's driveway:

Blown motor and all.

Here's a shot of my son working on the drive train swap we did. Note the 912 in the background without an engine.

And here's a picture of it some years later before I got rid of it because my left knee just couldn't take shifting gears any longer.

And no, I didn't paint the car. My son polished it for me.

I eventually ended up with an SC.

I seem to have lost all pics of my old 911. I would have thought that I could find one posted on PP, but I've not been able to find any.

I've had many but here is the one that got away. I joined this forum when I bought it in 2001 and sold it in 2004 when I had huge medical bills and could not work after an accident. Huge mistake, an almost completely irreplaceable car today:
