One of our son-in-laws, who is a store designer for Ulta, says their store designs are being modified to combat this. He said the losses are worrying. The good stuff is going under lock and Key.

My experience in buying perfume is matched in my experience in buying Patek Philippe watches or Plutonium.
It must be some stupid expensive stinky stuff to be possible for a human female to carry $150,000 in the stuff. As a kid my mom got the Neiman Marcus catalog to see the crazy stuff the sold. Every year they had some insane Christmas gift that was just a promotional gag most of all. One year I remember was a million gallons of some perfume. Bulk buying gone to extremes. An Olympic size pool is 660,430 gallons. So enough to fill one, and have enough left for a regular pool.
