No eff'n way! :)

Yes, she likes guns and could break down her old Glock, but upgraded and has only shot it once. I showed her a few pictures of some of my Spoons and she really lit up.

The worst thing that can happen...is to bite down on a crown right after it's been pulled out.
Those things are like rocks.

Shaun- kindly take a picture of the crown bottom side up so inquiring minds can look within. Thanks. R

I'll get the macro lens out tomorrow afternoon.

Naw... you don't have to do that :) Basically, you and Byron shot pics of the "tops" of the teeth. I just want to see down "the bore" of the inside. That reveals all. Always*

I have a temp crown right now too and it came off last night while flossing. Underneath hurts like hell. Went to the dentist to have it reinstalled. Can’t wait for the Permanent in two weeks. Going gold as it’s a molar. I’m gonna be a rapper.

While eating something, I swallowed one of my gold crown molars. I thought the new one would be gold as well, since the price was the same, but it’s white. I feel gypped. 😂

If the dentist was the one who placed the crown, and it keeps falling off, tell him you shared this concern on a certain car website named after birds, and those on said car website request intraoral pictures of the crown prep before they recement it to determine axial wall height and convergence angles on prep. :)

^Brilliant!

Popcorn is the worst thing for teeth.
If you are chowing down on a bowl of pc..slow down.

Biting into an un-popped kernal will take a tooth out.
And I love popcorn.

^Boy Howdy!!

Did it come out the other end?

I told my son that I’m going to bequeath my gold crown to him in my will.

Funny thing I've noticed about no crowns ...

It's not a good look.

My dentist will re-set any crown that they did.

From what I was told by an oral surgeon and a endodontist is the best crown material still is gold. It is superior in wear, and for maintenance than any man made material. For most people it is not an option for front teeth, but for molars and grinding food, it is the best option.

I have three gold molars. The price is pretty much the same, so for the gold!

Recently my dentist discovered a cavity under a crown he installed years ago. "you need a new crown and I need to replace a filling near it that's broken" (he also installed years ago) "$2100. total" OK fine, do it. He numbed me up, pulled the crown and made the impression for the lab. 3 weeks later they call me into the office. Good I think, I get my real crown today. Nope, the lab didn't like the impression and he has to make a new one. Numbs me back up (ugh) and I have to endure the process all over again. Now I have to wait another 3 weeks on the labs schedule for the permanent crown. Just shooting me would be less painful

GH85Carrera 02-11-2023 10:18 AM

He number you up just to take the impression? An impression not at all painful at all. The shots hurt way more.

gregpark 02-11-2023 10:51 AM

I got numerous shots in the gum and the roof of my mouth. When they pull the temp I guess exposing what's left of the tooth to the cold air would be painful? I don't know but I know I'm not enjoying this

creaturecat 02-11-2023 10:54 AM

dentist had to use a cutting wheel to remove my temp. i elected to turn down the freezing option.
maybe 5 seconds of panic, all told.
female dentist - very small hands, gentle. me like.

gregpark 02-11-2023 11:06 AM

Oh yeah, my guy just popped the temp off with a pair of pliers but he had to grind off the adhesive he applied 3 weeks prior to hold the temp on. More shots necessary! Ugh
Dentist's F'up = my pain and suffering and inconvenience

I didn’t check, but I assume it came out the other end.😂

Did you ever notice when you get Novacaine, they hide the needle from you. I guess people would freak out when they see this big old syringe and needle coming towards them.

stevej37 02-11-2023 01:14 PM

^^^ My dentist, and I'm sure many others, shake the gum area when injecting the novacaine.
It makes the jab less noticeable.
