Sure, why not. Good morning! I figure any morning where I wake up is a good morning.

Although, I did get into a bunch of poison ivy this weekend, and the itching woke me up an hour before my alarm went off this morning. That was a bit obnoxious. But it's still a good morning!

Nope, I always keep my eyes open when wandering around the yard, and since things had started sprouting/growing, I'd been more vigilant and had't seen any. The missus mowed this weekend, and had the belt pop off of the pulleys on the deck. I got the belt back on after pulling off a bunch of shredded grass that was on the deck and sent her on her way. Since I wasn't worried about it, I didn't go immediately wash up or take any precautions. I suspect having the PI all chewed up by the mower really spreads the urushiol oil around and makes it much more of a pain. A lot of my right forearm, spots on my left hand, forearm, both upper arms, most of my left knee and my left ankle. This is probably the worst that I've ever been hit. But so far, I only have some swelling, itching, heat and redness. I have hardly any of the blisters that I usually get with PI. I suppose it's possible that I have some other plant in the yard that triggers a similar response.

I heard that only humans have a reaction to poison ivy. Goats love to eat it and are just immune to it.

I've got about a quarter size spot of poison ivy rash under my left knee. I took a short trip into the wooded area to dispose of some tree branches off the yard and must have brushed against some ivy. I use Tecnu lotion to scrub the area and that has historically helped it from spreading.

Well I had a really good morning. Got up today without a catheter as I had it removed yesterday. I had a hernia operation last wednesday. Now I get to pee again normally!
Life is good. Thanks for asking Eric.
Cheers, Guy.

Woo hoo! Outstanding. I hear the removal process SUCKS! But I guess it's a better to be out than in.

Actually the installation hurts more but the removal hurts a bit less. I asked the Home Care nurse if all men squealed like baby pigs when the catheter is installed or removed. She said no. Man card gone. It depends on how you are built she says.

Better than yesterday but still far from normal.
Taste and smell disappeared overnight.

Feel sorry for you. I was in the hospital and every health worker was wearing a mask. I seem to be one of the few in public wearing a mask. Get better soon. Lots of fluids and rest. I call it forced relaxation. Get better soon bb.

Thanks and sorry to rain on the good morning parade.
I was actually happy to be feeling a bit better!
9 pm and time for bed.
Hope the dizzy/vertigo thing goes away. Just bad enough to be annoying.
