I understand that, without my agreement, Scuderia Ferrari F1 have put out a press release late this afternoon that I am driving for them in 2025. This is wrong and I have not signed a contract with Ferrari for 2025. I will not be driving for Ferrari for 2025. |

Hey Captain Ahab,
How much of a challenge will it be to get or keep any temp in the tires and do you think this will have a major impact on race? the long run down the strip certainly isnt going to help either! Jeff |

Hi Jeff, my guess will be after a pit stop it could make the driver vulnerable as he gets his tyres upto temp without cornering so hard the tyres are damaged, don't think there will be a problem with keeping the tyres up to temp as Pirelli will have developed compounds for just this race
David, I read it was so F1 could capture the largest world wide audience

I didn't realize that they had any tire options beyond C0-C5 compounds but that makes sense! One other factor is the fact that there are no support races for this event, combined with some fresh paving, should provide a challenge to the teams. I learned about this firsthand this year at Road America (as a vintage racer) the new pavement was AWESOME, but the level of grip off line was significantly lower as it had no rubber laid down! but since they are the best in the world I'm sure its a welcome challenge I appreciate your expertise and insight!
