I used to go around by the airport terminal parking lot and get some shots from the back of my truck but security was quick to run me off.

I was near there. No security on most test days. Well, except for when Ferrari tested early this year - that was like an Area 51 lock down!

So I'm assuming that Wayne Taylor - Andretti bought the #60 Meyer-Shank Acura since they are running a 2-car team next year and Meyer is out of the game (I suspect they were forced out by Honda after the Daytona embarrassment).



BMW was not running. They may have been there, not sure. And only the Whelen Cadillac was running. A few more:

The new Lamborghini SC63 testing at Daytona. They set FTOD! It will debut at Sebring 12 Hour.

Porsche Penske are running their 2024 upgrades at Daytona . No performance changes all are supposedly for enhanced reliability .
