My Ride was featured in a Magazine!!!
While neither of my Porsches have ever graced a page of a magazine, my favorite toy, a Kawasaki KRX 1000 Side-x-Side just got featured in a full 4 page spread in UTV action monthly publication.
![]() Proud papa here as I'm a simple privateer who likes to pull out a Visa card and accessories the machine to the hilt. Took all the photos and wrote up the article text myself too. I've got more $$$ invested into this than my Cayman and C4S combined. It's an incredible machine to go out and explore trails and rock climb in the Pacific North West. Thought I'd share what a wicked looking custom machine can look like. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very cool. I’ve had 3 of my Porsches in magazines. It’s neat. Driving them is more my thing.

Hey Rusty,
Where do you take this? I do a lot of dirtbiking in Tillamook, Hood River, Central Oregon, and around Camas. I see people driving SxS rigs all the time. Cool. |

Having spent more than a few hours riding shotgun with David in this machine, and having had the privilege to actually drive it myself, I can say "yeah..."
This is on seriously bchin' machine. It will go places most of us would have a hard time walking. Beyond some truly astounding capability, this thing appears to be bullet proof. David has done his level best to kill this poor thing (often with me in it), but it just smiles and asks for more.

Dude - what an awesome looking beast! Those Side-By-Sides are amazing!
I've driven a LOT of 4X4's in my time, but the last time we were in Sedona we rented a side by side for the first time ever - probably a middle of the road or maybe even a base model. I could.not.believe what that thing could do - how it ate up the rocks and the road, and the hills it could climb. In a word - amazing.

I run front limit straps and no sway bar to give full articulation of active electronic suspension. Live Valve shocks automatically adjust suspension dampening via a G-force accelerometer.
during hard braking the front end stiffens up, or in a high speed corner the outside shocks get firmer. Quite an amazing closed loop active servo controlled dampening. ![]()
