Will the Cheetah automobile ever be remade ?
The car AI thread made me think ( always dangerous ) . I was always fascinated with the GM Cheetah even though only 21 were ever made . In my opinion a brilliant design that was ahead of its time .
Just like a Cobra it's not very practical but yeah you want to drive one 😋 . Four wheel independent suspension with mid mounted V8 and Nascar size brakes . Yep, very, very cool.
I'd love to see one and see one driven in anger. Sure, I'd love to drive one too, but that seems pretty unlikely.

I've never liked that design.
It looks too much like these.

No, they look too much like it.
If they were any good, they would have made more than a few dozen. Apparently the inside of an oven is a nicer place to be than inside a Cheetah after a few hot laps

I love the slingshot style. The Cheetah has a brutal presence.

The no driveshaft thing was because the motor was pushed back so far, I think the exhaust headers went above the driver's legs.
