LOTS of foreign tools here...eye-watering prices too. I've purchased from them 1/2 dozen times, excellent customer service.

Robert...that site is like a woman in a chocolates shop for me...arrgh!

(edit) "Reasonable" is relative...glad I bought my Stahlwille double box end set a decade or so ago...the price has nearly tripled since then.

How about this "Porsche Motorsport" set? Only $279.

Look! It says "Porsche" on the case...that alone is worth $250, right? (edit) there's nothing that either of those Hazet kits can do that I can't do with tools I have that cost me a lot less.

Which set did you get, RF?

The 1/4" drive with both SAE and metric?

Nice - I was thinking a 3/8" drive made more sense than a 1/4" drive.

Thanks for the review...I now feel better about suggesting Tekton. First thing I noticed with the 1/2" drive sockets set I got was the large size stampings on the sockets. Easy to read for even my old tired eyes.

I liked the socket set I got so much I bought the TEKTON Combination Wrench Set with Pouch, 19-Piece (6-24 mm). It came over the weekend and the 12mm is missing and instead I got 2 11mm. Filled out their help form this morning to get replacement. So far the process is smooth but we shall see how it plays out. Pretty sure I won’t have an issue. The wrenches and tool roll are very nice

Are you sure it wasn’t the 10mm? 😂

Ten mm is the line between 1/4 and 3/8. I have a 3/8 drive 10mm socket, but for the most part everything from 10m down is 1/4" drive. 19 is the line between 3/8 and half. I have a 19 mm 3/8 drive socket, but I also have one in 1/2 drive and everything from 19 up is 1/2 drive.
Exactly my thought…no 3/8 ratchet…most commonly used for me…then 1/4. Got this Craftsman set at Sears about 40 years ago on sale for $30 or something. 3/8 and 1/4 metric and SAE. Don’t use it much but nice to have for SAE.

You may want to order a few extra 10mm sockets.

Just sayin’.

And Tekton site takes PayPal…yes!!!!!
Congrats. You'll still need to get more tool, which you can do as needed. I think it was Paul who suggested the Knipex angled pliers so I got a couple of those. Use them all the time. Superior design and functionality. German. Not super cheap but as I say, this is a frequently-used tool and superior design and high quality construction.

I have those on my list. They would be great for tarpon fishing!

For 'pliers', these are both fantastic value:
