Posted these before...magnetic sockets that hold any 1/4" bit in 3 drive sizes...enables you to use any ratchet you wish. I've used both 3/8 and 1/4 drive...haven't needed 1/2 so far. $16

^^^ The ratchet I posted above is only 4 inches long.
I needed something like that for close spaces.

I do like those sockets though.

Now why would you use a 1/2" drive on a little hex bit? isn't that a little like using a tennis racket on a ping pong ball?

I'd be lost w/o one of these:

Exactly...never used the 1/2" drive one. I got a small 4 pick set containing one like above with a free harbor freight coupon. Think I paid 5 or 6 bucks for a larger set...indeed, pick sets are cheap & handy.

It lays straight...but the shank is flexible. I think it was $12
