Built by a company that can’t even get 30k miles out of an engine….

A cad model and animation aren’t the same as a tested prototype. If an electric car is 600 hp, this means 4 150 hp motors. No way those 3/4” diameter gears with 1/4” shafts are going to hold up to 150 hp. I guess the braking is regenerative… so braking hp is maybe 300 hp? No way this survives a spirited drive around the block.

AFA placing the motors IN the wheels, that increases unsprung weight. So for that matter, all those gears and housing must mean something.
Yes, they conveniently forgot about all the other angles it needs to work at.

E.g. bushing compression/steering/camber/etc.

I've heard some outfit called Porsche have good ones. The word on the street is they can last 200,000 miles. Maybe they could copy a set off a SC.

Designed by some guy sitting at a computer. Maybe even a school project.

My thoughts exactly. No idea that 120mm is just under 5” which makes those gears under 1” in diameter and totally incapable of transmitting the necessary loads.

AI could do that.
"Transmit power from A to B using X parameters"

Could even be pneumatic. Need storage for unicorns.

Fools! All of you!!!!
Basically the only new principle involved is that instead of power being generated by the relative motion of conductors and fluxes, it is produced by the modial interaction of magneto-reluctance and capacitive diractance

What I found funny is the single motor is 10 times bigger that the singles.

Just engineers looking for things to over complicate. The Cv joint is still there in the video to allow for turning. Its just shorter to alow for more cargo space. Which makes no sence because there is usually less suspention travel than steering angle. But im no engineer.

Well, you have correctly pointed out the increased cargo space could be a real bonus provided the said cargo is so light it does not challenge the the decreased suspension travel!
