Sci Fi movie on prime.

This is a cute plot, and stellar graphics.

Blew my mind watching on a 77" OLED I just got.

it would have been sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better if they had cast a real leading man actor against Cara Delevingne vs the caricature man-child they gave the role to. The story was good, graphics excellent but the 12 year old boy sucked the life out of the movie.

The Rihanna scene was great.

Agreed - I had high hopes for that movie and I think the lead casting fell flat and killed it. An interesting question might be "who should they have cast in the lead roles"?

Made by the same guy that made The Fifth Element. Not as great a movie, but I enjoyed it.

I tried to watch it, and I bailed out and thought it was not worth finishing.

The dude (Luc Besson) is a weird little man-child himself. All of his movies are like a 10 year old's fever dream, with explosions and aliens and assassins and flying cars and singing and women who are just emotionally broken jewelery to the main character. They *seem* like strong female leads, but really, they're not, they're just there to be pretty and to drive the main male characters storyline.

The Professional. Fifth Element. Nikita. Transporter. Taken. Lucy. Valerian.

He just really really loves boobs, aliens, explosions, strangely powerful guns, assassins, and fast cars (flying and otherwise). The dude is literally just a grade schooler.
