Really tough loss for the Preds tonight. That was an epic fail.

Unfortunately for the Bruins, they are one of the most hated teams in the NHL, ever. Marchand has everything to do with it. Slew footing, low bridging, spearing, butt end to the face, you name it he's done it in the Leaf series. If the Rangers and the Bruins meet, I would like to see Rempe knock out Marchand and have him carried out on a stretcher never to return. Sad because he is a very good hockey player.

Normally I would post the cartoon of Ovi hoisting a bad of golf clubs over his head but he hasn't looked good this entire series. He barely moved around, didn't check opposing players, didn't have any emotion on his face and I didn't see him shouting out anything to rally the team. Its almost as if he has been taking Prozac. I think he has played with an injury. We'll find out in the next 48 hours.

Ovi is a joke, playing only to catch Gretzy's REGULAR season goal record. Ovi will never be close to the total goal record. I'm not even convinced Ovi can play two more years.

I agree. Ovi looks like he's just mailing it in. If he stays in the game for next season & plays the way he has - as of late - you could make the case, he's merely in it for the sole purpose of 'padding the stats'. He looks "done" IMHO.

Yesterday's game; the Canucks had no damn business winning that one. I think 'Canuck Nation' owes & will be paying some homage to the hockey gods. That was a brutal loss suffered by the Preds - but I'll take it as we have been on the short end of results for too long & we know just how bad the Preds post-game feelings were last night.

Hey - that's Hockey! I wonder if the "Bolts" can come back??

They started taking reckless penalties - a sign that mental fatigue/stress was kicking in and they were making bad decisions.

Bouncing back on the road is always tough but the Leafs are still missing some of their best. It's playoff hockey so...who knows?

As a casual NYR fan, I was looking forward to seeing him play and figured we’d need a plan to make sure he was contained. Holy crow was he a non-factor. Unless he’s playing hurt, he doesn’t appear to be able to hang with the kids anymore, at all.

In a interview Ovi said he wasn't hurt.
He started out his career playing a 50 foot game. He because a 180 foot game player but this playoff he was a 20 foot game player. No movement, no hits, no defense.

Agreed. Some guys just never rise as high as their dreams but 2018 was a pretty good year for him. I always smile when I see the Cup hoisted for the first time by the winner. Ovi was no exception. I too think it's time, but I also relate to not knowing when it's time to quit. My kids had to convince me to give up two wheels in favor of three.

The Caps owner will let him play on the power-play in rubber boots looking for one-timers if it means getting the regular season goal record.

He's not hurt, he's fat and not in condition to play. His team-mates have said as much. When they say 'he needs to dedicate himself to conditioning' it's pretty obvious.

Elias Pettersson has been a disappointment in Canuck land.
They gonna go down, if he doesn't wake up and start making good on the "open net" opportunities.

I think the Bruins just lost the first round.

Leafs Bruins is not good hockey. No one has really stood out as 'great' offensively, it's all collapse down and block most shots, chip the puck out, or ice it, run long offensive zone cycles with no shots, and then dump and chase (then lose possession).

That's not great entertainment.
