Found something in Goggle map in Gulf of CA
Not sure how to post this but I am bored and started screwing around and came across something in the gulf of CA west of the town of Huntabampo. Get in 3d relief view and you can clearly see something that looks like a huge man made striations in the sea bed. I try to goggle it but found nothing but then again, my goggle skill sucks. Anyone know what that is?

A airport for ancient aliens, no doubt...

I'd hate to say it's aliens, but...

In actuality, it has something to do with the seabed being surveyed by sonar, giving higher detail in some areas than others. The lines are the ships paths.

The lines are not there in reality. It's just a difference in detail in the digital data from various sources and Google 'sews' these various maps together, resulting in what appear to be lines.

I wonder if marine charts or navionics data backs up the existence of these features.

I'm revising my WAG. Perhaps the features were formed by earthquake/fault line disturbance? Even further south throughout that region, there are many other parallel and perpendicular features to those. ![]()

I just watched the Ancient Apocalypse on Netflix.
He would think these were made by humans before the great flood after the last ice age. Worth a watch.

I've always thought the Nazca stuff was amazing. I saw a show at some point that finally said and showed how they were made. They are surprisingly superficial up close. The area gets virtually no rain, ever. The lines were made by moving the dark colored rocks on the surface of the desert that's made of light colored sand. In photos from above, they look like they'd be either carved into the surface or relief, but they aren't.
