Valvoline Restore and Protect

Has anyone tried this stuff? Came out about 6 months ago and is supposed to do a good job of deposit removal.

I don't own any vehicles that take 0W20 that's for super modern cars... They claim to increase gas mileage. That's all I have for you

What are you putting in ?

Thanks for a link!... for an Acura v6 that burns oil due to carbon buildup on the rings...Hoping it will help...but not expecting any miracles.

My Civic SI calls for 0W20...I just bought another jug yesterday for $30
My Honda dealer said the same about the gas mileage. I reset my mileage gauge after every fill-up and it's never below 40mpg.

When I bought it, I noticed they also have 0W16 for sale. (Mobil 1)

Transmission fluid 'was' the common go-to for cleaning an engine. Inexpensive.

Add a little bit.
Rev without load. The detergent sinks behind the piston oil ring gap and eventually flushes carbon.
And then with load. A short trip.
Change oil.

But band-aids don't help. Long term.
If an injector or spark plug or O2 sensor is gumming up the system, the problem will come back.
