Nose Rings

I know I'm an old guy but nose rings are not attractive. I just don't get it.

I agree totally. Facial piercing and nose studs are just strange. I don't understand bright green or purple hair either.

Get off my lawn!

I just ignore the entire fad. If they want to poke extra holes in their body, go for it, just don't expect my approval, not that they care.

From personal observations.......piercings can be VERY sexy if in the right location(s).

The face is not one of them...lol......

To me, at first glance nose hardware looks like Parkerized boogers.

Yum.

Every time I see one, I think of the hogs I saw on my granfather's farm as a kid.

We best get over ourselves.

I've seen a fair amount of piercings and tats. I have opinions like everyone has opinions.

It's all down to the location, hardware used, and "canvas".

I'm not big into septum-style nose piercings, but if the hardware used was really small and thin, it wouldn't bother me.

I would prefer something like this

to something like this, although this isn't that bad.

And these don't bother me in the least.

And a little side ring wouldn't bother me either.

When I was six or seven the neighbors had a Brahma bull. Terrifying animal. Would stalk me along the fence line as I walked to the school bus stop. Impossible to control, too expensive to kill. At some point it got out and killed a dog. That was enough.

The neighbor, my dad and some others herded it into a chute. One pulled out something that looked like bolt cutters. In a second it was over and he had a nose ring.

After that it was “yes sir, right away sir, anything you want as long as you don’t yank on that thing in my nose.”

I think of that every time I see someone with a nose ring.

I for one am glad, as the septum piercing is a sure sign of "unstable' serves as a visible reminder to avoid this person.

It can be very stressful to fear failure.
For some, it is comforting to have a built in
permanent excuse for failure.

It's not my fault I can't get a decent job or meet challenges,
it's the tattoos or piercings!
