See the opening few hours will be on NBC.

Is the rest of the race streaming?

CurtEgerer 10-10-2025 04:40 PM

Noon to 10:30PM on Peacock.

Boo, not even the closing hours will be free to watch or imsa.tv. I’m too cheap to get peacock.

Looks https://livetiming.alkamelsystems.com/imsa will be the way. IMSA live timing is poo.

CurtEgerer 10-10-2025 05:25 PM

^^^ I only pay for it to get IMSA, Tour de France and Leave it to Beaver

astrochex 10-10-2025 05:39 PM

I’m particularly surprised that there is no imsa.tv coverage. That used to be the way.

Petit Le Mans Friday report: watched Michelin Pilot Challenge, won by McLaren but championship claimed by Team RS1 Porsche 718 GT4 RS CS driven by Jan Heylen and Luca Mars. IMSA Weathertech qualifying next, overall pole as mentioned, #60 Acura of Blomqvist, Braun and Dixon. Fastest Porsche was #7 with Nasar, Tandy and Vanthoor +0.613 seconds back in fifth. In GT/GT Pro, Porsche midpack with AO Racing 911 GT3 R, known as Rexy #77 with a 5th in class position. Long race, so starting position is meaningless. Here are amateur pics as promised...

Was no argy bargy at all, a Ferrari took too much curb, lost it and spun into the middle of the track.

I thought the Ferrari was tapped from behind but after watching replays he lost it on his own .

CurtEgerer 10-11-2025 10:06 AM

Great pics. Thank you! The Aston Martin is really impressive. Qualified 5th and holding station in 4th right behind Nasr now. Gunn smoked the rear tires and went sideways at the start. Nearly lost it.

astrochex 10-11-2025 03:02 PM

Another fcy, ugh.

CurtEgerer 10-11-2025 07:17 PM

Wow! Excellent race and what a result. 1. Cadillac, 2. Aston Martin, 3. Porsche, 4. Lamborghini

Driver's and Manufacturer GTP Championships to Porsche.

astrochex 10-11-2025 07:24 PM

Great race!

Happy for the #6 and the #99 (LMP2 driver (PJ Hyett and Dane Cameron) and team champions AO Racing.

Agreed .

So on the YouTube IMSA Channel right now is the Mazda MX-5 Cup live at Martinsville .... on the oval! And Cadillac WEC/IMSA GTP star Earl Bamber is running in 3rd place. Not sure if they've run an oval before but it's entertaining.

CurtEgerer 11-03-2025 06:18 AM

This is why so many are beyond frustrated with WEC and their crazy BoP system: the season finale is this weekend in Bahrain. Cadillac has been doing well the last couple of races and has an outside chance of taking the championship. So what does the FIA do? Hit them with a 30HP decrease and a 4Kg weight increase  Porsche, who are in with a good chance for the championship, are hit with a 12HP decrease  But guess who gets an increase in HP and a weight reduction? I won't give it away, but it starts with an F and they lead the championship ..... is the fix in?

Isn't BoP adjustment based on results of prior race(s)?

(devils advocate) Ferrari has not won since France. (/devils advocate)
