non VOIP small business phone system
I am thinking someone here probably knows of a phone system where incoming calls are via landline and the operator can with one or two buttons transfer the call to any one of 20 cell phones.
We have had the same landline based phone system (ATT) for 25 years and its trouble free. Our cellular is trouble free. Internet is the most troublesome of the three services so therefore I am looking for a solution to transfer incoming calls to cell phones without dialing access codes and 10 digit number. I would like to have the cell phones programed in so it maybe push one button to transfer and another to select the cell. Any help or direction is very much appreciated! |

For a small business setup that needs reliable landlines, I'd go with a good-quality PBX system. Panasonic still makes decent non-VoIP options if you need traditional phone lines. If you’re also looking for a non VoIP number for SMS verification, Tardigrada.io is a good option.

AT&T said they are getting out of landline business. They are ripping out the copper wire, and recycling the copper. It will be interesting to see how much longer real landlines are around. We killed ours off years ago.

Why non-VoIP?

I was in the same boat needing something reliable without going full VoIP. What worked for us was using ActiveCalls cloud-based call center software. It let us keep the desk phones everyone was used to, but added features like call queuing and recording without needing a whole new system. The setup wasn’t complicated, and support was actually quick whenever we got stuck.
