https://x.com/RickyDoggin/status/1921708479904878746

not really related but sorta, yesterday for mother’s day, on behalf of our dog, i plugged my wife’s tire and detailed her car for 5 hours. in the trunk I found the below.

every fall i panic and wonder in the mystery of where the snow brushes are so I go buy more for us

well here are some of them. I count 7. She had no idea they were there

I have a picture somewhere from the last trash day before moving south…2 snow shovels leaned up against the side of the trash can at the curb (in VA). So glad to be done with all that shoveling, scraping, slop etc.

im jealous

when my parents have moved on, i hope me and my wife can get out of here to someplace warm. problem is the cost of everywhere now is insane. we live so inexpensively here and there is much to enjoy here but the weather is incredibly horrible. Florida is my favorite place and between the hurricanes and the costs now days, aint gonna happen. Back in 2001, I applied to a job in the Keys and got the job but could not justify the pay cut so I stayed in NYC. I regret that decision now

One of my friends graduated medical school, and could not wait to get away from the cold weather.

Their test was to drive south, stop at a random big box store, and ask where the snow blowers were. If the answer was over on aisle whatever, the kept driving south.

They got the SC and the employees replied "A what" and they decided that was they would move.

LOL! I've seen that video before somewhere. I love the end where the dude was sitting on the couch when it happened.

That’s my brothers favorite one
I haven’t picked a favorite, maybe granny that cut the tree down and almost had her head crushed
I think the pressure washer one is fake
The lady that fell on the ladder onto her back looked like she was almost killed. Ouch

Yesterday we took my parents to breakfast. Had to drive them in my wife’s Mazda because parents can’t climb up into my truck. I drive her car and not even 10 seconds I said something is wrong with the tires, pressures seem off and I hear a nail so I pulled over in the neighborhood and everyone as usually starts screaming at me….dont be paranoid, keep going blah blah. I pull over and sure enough there’s a screw in the tire. She’s telling everyone in the office today how I’m a car genius so in tune with the car that I could sense an issue. I said you can’t hear the click click click of the screw?

Later I used her jack along with my floor jack as a backup and removed the wheel and plugged the tire no biggie. She says what are those strips, bacon?

After detailing inside and out, I said crap I forgot to put your jack back and I put everything back in the trunk now I gotta empty it again. She said, huh? That thing is mine? Where was it?

Oh boy. Good thing she has me

Special ordered a snow shovel here in Florida to deal with some clean up (needed real big scoop), worked great and still have it.

Yeah, the granny was so happy, but doesn't realize how close she came to being "late" granny. Several of those look painful. I'm sure most of us have seen the one where the girl drops something on a dolly that swings up and smacks her in the head.

Agree, the one where the pressure washer flings her around like a ragdoll has got to be fake. No one that would get flung around that easily would manage to hold on so tightly.

Here it is in case you've missed it. I'm surprised this one didn't draw blood.

Oh that had to have hurt badly damn

I’ve done dumb stuff too mostly as a kid

Worst was I was riding my bike down our street when I reached down to get something stuck in the chain and the chain ring grabbed my finger. Had to pedal backwards to get it unstuck. 40 years ago and I can still feel it and hear the thoughts in my head at that moment

I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t have a camera set up, to video everything I’m doing. Especially, when I’m doing something sketchy.

Took it like a champ, though!

I've had a few dingers like that in my life. Those things that hit you so hard that you don't even make a sound...just kinda try to focus on what the hell just happened.
