LEO, I don't know how you guys do it - what's wrong with people
I see videos like this all of the time. I see/read so much crap about LEOs, and I don't get it. These guys couldn't have acted any better, IMO.
I also don't understand these sorts of people, and there are A LOT of them out there that act like this. I'm sure that her opinion is that she was wronged by bad police. I have to think that any normal, rational person would see that's not the case. WTF is wrong with people. And those video has nothing to do with race because I've seen videos of folks of every description acting like this. Are they mentally ill. Many seem like they are or should be relatively normal until they lose it and/or have a very warped sense of reality. I've thought before that some of them were just acting outrageously in the theory that their barking and aggressive show will cow others so they get what they want. But could it REALLY be that? I just don't get it. And this isn't political either.

lol.
I was going through the Atlanta TSA and turned down the facial scanner. The girl became so irrate that she swung her chair around so her back was towards me… I thought that was weird behavior, but that girl did the same thing.

The whole video can be summed up with this comment.

In the past week or two, I think I've seen at least 5 videos of women being told that they either can't go someplace or they have to leave someplace and they need to know "why" because, "I haven't done anything." And they don't seem to get that there doesn't need to be a reason why other than one person (owner/manager) doesn't want you there. And if they don't cooperate and leave, it's not going to turn out well for them.

I often wonder did we behave like this 40-50 years ago? Maybe we did? There's just weren't that many cameras around to get it out in out in the open? Also, is this an American oir dare I say North American thing? People act like that in other parts of the world? I wanted to reach through my screen and slap that dumb girl. This type of stuff has to wear on those cops. They were truly professionals.

Cops should have just told the manager on the phone it's her job to tell her employees what to do - stay or go.
Additionally - that manager on the phone did a piss poor job communicating with her associates. I have other thoughts but those are the 2 main ones.....

Yep... Can you even imagine how the cops would have handled this without cameras?
Years ago I heard a story about the cops using a telephone book to get a confession. The person being interviewed had stolen a firearm and was refusing to talk. A few bashes with the phone book to the head soon fixed that. Freekin awful but it worked.

"Respect Culture" is a disease and shouldn't be confused with actual respect. Kudos to the officers for not losing it.

I think she’s mentally ill. One thing I think the officer did wrong was respond to everything she said. It was nonsense anyway and it may have just encouraged her to keep it up. It’s good to try to reach a rapport with people, but she wasn’t having any of it, so just give her the necessary orders and ignore her nonsense.

I would say control issues stemming for long term sexual abuse as a child.

She was adamant. Way beyond those "auditors" taking videos who are belligerant to police to get view clicks. Something definitely long term created this.

This video brings back a lot of memories of people I have arrested. They ranged in age and demographics, but were mostly in their twenties to early thirties. In many cases, the person acted like this to avoid being SEARCHED for weapons or contraband. The suspect acted a fool to dissuade the cops from finding a knife, gun, or dope. To me, it seemed she was doing the same.
She deserved to go to jail and once in the jail, the cops should have notified a supervisor to witness, record, and supervise the mandatory actions such as the search. I would have cut off her jacket with safety scissors and left the handcuffs in place. I would have also put a "spit bag" over her head to avoid being bitten as she threatened the cops. Once she was searched, I would have left her in the immobilization chair until she appeared to be calm, observing her to ensure she did not have a medical emergency. Once calm, I would explain what the procedures were to complete the booking process and have a team of officers nearby to restrain her again until she calmed down enough to finish. This goes on everyday as a cop! They did a great job at remaining calm and did everything in their power to restrain her without hurting her. I applaud them.

David I respect the hell out of you and your fellow officers. A good friend of mine is a former SWAT officer, he’s got some stories. I don’t have the patience, in my opinion a lot more people should get tazed.
