Does anyone else decorate outdoors for the 4th?

My neighbor put this out today......classy!
I need to ask her what type of beer he drinks.

We have a few folks in the neighborhood who leave those stupid giant skeletons up year round.

We're never home on the 4th, so no. I barely decorate for Christmas.

It's been in the same place for a week or so....today she added the beer and hat.
Before today, it was wearing a pink tutu.

Someone told me that those things cost 3-4 hundred...not counting the dog.

I think it’s awesome. My wife just puts out a lame decorative wreath.

I switched out my 30X50 inch American Flag today. It was at least 5 years old and starting to fray at the top.
I love seeing all the homes showing the Stars and Stripes.

I hung up my American flag today, and bring it in at night, and put it up during the day until a few days after the 4th. We put bunting on the brick mailbox out front. That is about it. Nothing difficult, but it gets done every 4th.

I don't have a good way to put a light on the flag at night, so I bring it in.

^^^ Very nice!

I take mine in for at least 4 months of the year....otherwise it becomes a stiff sheet of ice.

As an aviation dork I’ll point out that the F-15 has never served duty as a Thunderbird.

All the ex-pats who live in our Baja MX community tend to really celebrate and decorate.
They miss being in the states and it shows.
