But if you can plug into a router with ethernet, that's almost always better than wireless.
I had to move it in our office which apparently threw off my wife’s decorating vibe. But the printer works!

That's my story right there. I had access to all sorts of hi-res printers, small to large. Better yet, I had the know-how (and permission) to use 'em all for personal stuff.

Inkjets are useless; expensive ink and no good for occasional use.
Brought a second hand HP Laser printer with a good toner and drum 5 years ago.
Works every time I need it.

Color laser. I like Brother MFC machines. At work I have a Kyocera office copier type machine, zero issues and still on the same toner after 5 years, but I also try to be as paperless as possible.

Don't get me started!

I print for a living. HP has me by the balls with my large format inkjet printer. The inks were $100 a couple of years ago and now they are $150. It takes 7 of them. Then the harddrive or board goes and they have discontinued them so you have to buy a new printer ($8,000). Luckily I can still order from China.

Adobe is even worse. I purchased the suit and now we get pop ups saying we need to subscribe to the service. Delete pop up and the f###er will shut down 1/2 way through a design.

Looking forward to retirement.
