Is it just me.
I need to log in each time I come to Pelican Parts forums?
I don't really want to delete all cookies as lots of other sites remember me. |

Hi Bill
Yes, it's just you ! And it's not because of your bottom left corner of the world location. Logs in automatically for me. Cheers Last edited by Magyar Kiwi; 09-14-2025 at 03:07 PM.. |

Sometimes this works for me when it doesn't log in automatically:
Check the box that asks to "remember me" Immediately close the Pelican tab without entering your username or password. Maybe even close the browser. Open Browser, log onto pelican.

I'm my experience that is usually a you issue (more accurately your browser acting silly).
I'd give what Herr recommends a shot. That sounds like a reasonable option that might do the trick. |

Lately, it’s been asking me to login frequently. Nothing has changed on my end.

Haha, thanks guys. The strange thing is it remembers I have a 1979 SC but I have to log in each time I visit. And I don't have a remember me button to tick.

My Pelican ID was stolen a few years ago. After I recovered from that I turned “remember me” off and log in and out every time I visit. I use LastPass, which makes it easy.

It's happening constantly to me now, both phone and laptop. Good thing I remember my password from 2001 but it's a PIA.

I use Tapatalk for my phone, and it has not ever asked me to log in since the initial setup.
On my computer, I have periods where I have to log in, then long stretches where it works fine. Contact the administrator. See if they have some setting they can change for you.

Yeah, if I access on my phone I have to log in every day. Not every time, just every day. On my ten year old Mac on my desk at home, it will probably remember me long after I die.

Yes, us Coconuts in the South Pacific are often forgotten about. I'm used to it. At least we are on most maps these days.
Maybe i forgot to pay my subscription fees to Pelican Parts. I usually get an email and hand over my credit card details and someone does it for me. I'm sure if I delete all cookies it will come right but I can't be bothered relogging into everything else. |

I have to click on a link for Classifieds in my icon bar for me to open email links as me logged in.

You should be able to delete cookies individually
It could also be hitting the http port and not the https port since the full url including protocol is associated with the cookie
