Back in 1974, I was still living in Alabama and I was at a dance place, looking to find girls of course, and I went with a new friend from Montana. His dad was in the Air Force as was my dad.
The song "Sweet Home Alabama" was played and the dance floor was inundated with people rushing to the dance floor to dance. My new friend looked at me and asked, "Is that a popular song down her? I still rank that as my favorite WTF stupid question ever asked of me. And a 100% true story.
