Anyone having issues logging in to GMale?

This sux .... using the same acct/phone#/2 stage verification forever... now in a failed logon "loop" regardless after entering the code that is sent...

Any suggestions?

I've tried and failed
... a few times

Is this a sign of becoming senile...

I am here now

GMale, is that some sort of dating service? Not that there’s anything wrong with that!

I am assuming you mean GMail and not Gmale. Just to exclude GMale I googled it and it does not exist. No you are not becoming senile. I have more than one GMail account as it is quite complex and probably should not be so. For instance I have a fitbit and I had to have a specific type of GMail account so I got another category of GMail account. Yes I agree it is not simple. So that is all I can say about it. Keep on trying....

I assume you've already done the standard step 1 and 2?

1) Restart your browser
2) Clear your browser cache and cookies

If it's not one of those, I've got no idea.

RU using ATT as your provider?
ATT has had a problem with DNS for the last day or two. Change your DNS address and see if it fixes the issue.

Why do I have to have cookies enabled when logging into Gmail?

Because Google wants to collect data and sell it to anyone who will pay.

Google told to pay $425m in privacy lawsuit

A US federal court has told Google to pay $425m (£316.3m) for breaching users' privacy by collecting data from millions of users even after they had turned off a tracking feature in their Google accounts.

The verdict comes after a group of users brought the case claiming Google accessed users' mobile devices to collect, save and use their data, in violation of privacy assurances in its Web & App Activity setting.

Mebbe GMale is just not liking me .

I try login using the same ID/PW that I've had since GMale was in beta testing... nope!

So I do the reset password option, and send the 6 digit code to my phone (like every 2FA), enter the code I receive, and GFUMale then sends the code to my GM account that I can't logon to .

A dumb-azz recursive "do loop" .... and evidently I am in it

"GMale" (instead of Gmail) sounds like a hookup sight or a place to order testosterone and the biue pills...

You can choose which DNS Server each of your computers use (dunno about phones).
If you have ATT Fiber Optic internet then the default is the ATT server. I learned this after many hours looking for a solution on my own and then speaking with 2 different tech people before I got to talk to Advanced Tech Support.

I know (and have forgotten ... just ask Steve ) a LOT about DNS servers ... I was responsible for our corporate (3 top-of-the-line), carrier grade DNS servers along with other stuff....

DNS issues caused 87.637% of "My" Intranet and Internet "Network" problems .... and I was the FIRST to usually know it ...

I couldn't reach Pelican from the "inside" ... dang ... what broke ?

... mebbe 98% ... the network was rarely the cause of network outages...

But network folks still have to identify... and fix it ... just ask Steve

This had nada to do with DNS ....

GMail should be pretty friendly for logs in.

I don't want to tempt fate, but I just click on the Gmail tab and it goes straight into Gmail. No password or anything

Gmail should be tighter than that.
