Hey. Curious. You ever #2 on a commercial flight?

I’m kinda claustrophobic. That room is tiny.

I’m a NO.

I think I have when I was a kid. Once I got to be an adult and realized what a PITA it is to get out of your seat, into the restroom, do your business (in that room when you're over 6'), and then back, I decided that it was better to limit eating and drinking the day of travel so I'm less likely to need to use the facilities. I generally don't eat before flights, and then may not eat (or not more than one of the tiny bags of snacks). I also usually don't drink before or on flights, but if the flight is short, then I may have some club soda since I know I'll be able to wait until I'm in the airport to get rid of it.

Granted, flying back from Japan is usually a looooong flight (especially since the times that I've done it (as a kid)) were from Florida.

Two women, yes, I've tried.

#2, I never want to try again.

It could be worse. My dad spent some time (not a lot) on submarines. He has been caught on the john when they decided to perform an emergency blow. It's my understanding that trying to stay on the toilet and avoid the sloshing contents is "exciting".

And here I was thinking he was talking about the right seat in the cockpit. Done that a lot, just not on a commercial flight.

Then it dawned on me what he meant.

Never. But I notice that some people spend a very long time in the bathroom on flights. Anxiety bowels??? No idea. I sort of make a point not to experience their aftermath...

I was on a flight back from Mexico when a woman waiting in line for the bathroom didn't make it.
Never smelt anything so bad.

At 6-4, I find it hard to take a leak, a deuce would be impossible. It’s smaller than a Porta Jon, and that’s difficult.

Depending on the size of the aircraft, I have to bend my body, and my head sometimes hits the sloped ceiling. Add in the plane moving, and it’s a challenge.

I'm a couple of inches shorter. My head ends up being a brace point in addition to a shoulder and/or knee. Regardless, it's a PITA, so like I said, I limit all intake of food and drink to try to ensure that I never need the facilities. It's sometimes necessary on longer flights.

Never, it’s my worst nightmare….recently had a 16+ hour flight and was able to avoid it but took some planning. Limited food/drinks, took imodium just because and all was good, but it was close! lol…

Only when rather desperate. Then again, I don't like pooping in public restrooms generally.

Back in my youth I was doing a lot of international business travel which meant flying business class and first class on flights that were sometimes 20 hours. Cutting to the chase, there was an airline (I want to say it was Swiss?) who had a shower onboard and I took one because I figured I would regret it if I didn't try it out.

To your original question, I don't seek it out but yes I have busted a grumpy in the tiniest of airline bathrooms.

I will actually allow myself to get a little dehydrated for a day or two before flying just to avoid, if possible, having to go while airborne.

One of the mechanics I used to fly with was about 6'6" and well over 300 pounds. He had some very disturbing complex about taking a dump. We all learned very early on with this guy to never let him into our hotel room. He thought it was funny as hell to plug your toilet, which he could seemingly do at will.

We were in Mexico one time, about 40 of us on our tour bus commuting from the hotel to the airport. The damn thing actually had a restroom. No one was really paying attention when this guy climbed down the stairs into it... My God, when that door reopened and he emerged... Think Fat Bastard. The driver actually pulled over and stopped so we could all get out for awhile. We were late getting to the hangar and the night crew was pissed.

So, yeah, he did this on airplanes as well. He managed to empty most of First Class one time, on a British Airways 777 on our way to Heathrow. Passengers standing in the aisles in coach waiting for it to clear. Shaw sitting all by himself in First Class, satisfied Cheshire cat grin on his face.

I find it weird so many of you guys are afraid to drop a deuce in public restrooms and even more so on an airplane.

A month ago I spent a week in Florida, working, but pigging out on some great seafood. On the trip home, there was no more waiting, something was gonna happen and I chose to use the restroom and not my pants. Yea, it is tight, and uncomfortable, but it is not that difficult.
